Dismiss the necessity of Pedant Touch

Hello, the company that I work owns several Fuji TNW3500 with a Fanuc 31a Controller. Since the machines are more than 10 years old, the majority of the Pedant Touch that controls the robot remotally are in critical state and some
don't even work. With this in mind, the board asked for the maintenance create ways to use the machine without the Pedant Touch connected. The easiest way to do is short wire the robot's emergency button, but they want the emergency stop to work when the Pedant Touch is connected to the machine.
Therefore, I need a signal that is only turned on when the Pedant Touch is connected regardless of the Pedant's emergency button. Somebody knows if this signal really exists and if so, which is it ?
