looking for 10m servo wire color identify
not sure how to word that
i have a mill i am retrofitting and cant recall which wire color does what
there was a great picture in google but for the life of me i cant find it again!
there is 4 power wires and a yellow ground
on the machine it had the 2 pairs of power wires joined at the drive
Re: looking for 10m servo wire color identify
Is that " 2 pairs of power wires joined at the drive" mean 2 pairs connected together?
Implying there is just one pair of supply conductors needed?
What is the motor technology?
DC? BLDC? etc.
Re: looking for 10m servo wire color identify
4 power wires out of the brushed servo. 1 ground wire
i followed them to the board and at the terminal strip they were paired with lugs.
so i am assuming they have a basic + and - power requirement

Re: looking for 10m servo wire color identify
There is no standard color code for that cable. You will need to ring out the wires or open the connector at the motor end.
Pins C/D is A1 and pins F/G is A2. Pin P is ground.
Now A1 and A2 may need to be swapped as pairs to get rotation direction right.

Re: looking for 10m servo wire color identify
You can trace/identify continuity of each A1/A2 pairs from the MS3108 connector end.
Re: looking for 10m servo wire color identify
A1 and A2, are these both just power wires to drive the servo or is one a field winding or some other magic?
Re: looking for 10m servo wire color identify
These motors were PM field. Hence per label EXCIT(ation) - PERM Magnet.
