INPUT OVERFLOW! CHECK PROTOCOL! this is the message I get when i load the program on full handshake. I've tried changing the parameters, and i mean all of them. But nothisg seems to work properly. sometimes when i get the baud rate to 600. It runs but too slow, and now it wont even work on 600. What can cause the problem. Someone please help
Could anyone be so kind to help me out? The only solution for me was a 300 baud rate, but it takes 2-3 times more time to finish something because the code is loading too slow and the machine is waiting for it to load every so often.
...try setting Flow Control XON/XOFF (Software)
I've tried setting xon/xoff and it has worked for me before but for some reason, when i changed the laptop that loads to the machine, it's not working properly. I've also tried with other setting but no luck. When I set the baud rate to 2400 for example, The program loads only 10% of the machine memory and then it states "Input overflow", and stops every action.

I had to change the laptops because the old one died.
...USB to Serial adapters are sometimes the problem if, that is what you are using.
I am using serial to serial directly, and have tried 2 different lap tops.
Hello msavcic, I need help with the communication of a Hurco with Ultimax II, what is the process to upload an NC file to the Hurco after connecting it to the pc? Do I have to download any software?
