Decent motor/board/power supply kit?
I'm helping a friend overhaul a 20 year old router. It's Nema23 (grossly underpowered at 150oz/in) and equally old Geckos. I'd like to just put on some bigger motors, but I know the PSU and geckos would be better served with an upgrade as well.

But I was wondering if anyone had any better kit to recommend?
Little info about the machine:
2' x 2 x 6" (XYZ), full size Porter Cable router head. Ball screws on all axis, 1" Thompson shaft and bearings on XY, 3/4" on Z. All aluminum (machined flatbar) construction. Dual ball screws on the lower (X) axis, using a single motor and timing belts to transmit motion.
Planning on using Mach3/4, if that matters at all. Computer choice is rather open ended, from old XP machines all the way up to Win10 new PC.

You rarely see kits with top of the line components, due to the price.

I guess it depends on how much you want to spend.

I prefer UCCNC over Mach3. CNC Drive's AXBB-E controller doesn't need a breakout board, and can also be used with Mach3 or Mach4 in Windows 10.

The Avid CNC RouterParts kit is very good. That is exactly what I have and have been using for a year.
