We have a Haas 300 servo bar feeder. We also have a Haas TL1 Tool Room Lathe w/ an hydraulic collet closer (for B10 collets).
We are trying to use the 300 bar feeder with the TL1, but there are compatibility issues and the TL1 can't communicate with the bar feeder.
Does anybody know how to make these 2 machines compatible?
Usually a control has a "bar feeder interface"
My guess is you need that.
This interface is not plausible. You would need to do the interface and the adapter. There are no provisions for setting the height to the TL either. You are better off getting a 3rd party barfeeder that can easily be interfaced and M-code activated.
