Hello and good morning everybody
Our Z axis display doesn’t count anymore since yesterday.
Or rather it only counts the 5/1000th.
The measuring stick still works- we have tested it.
Does anybody know a reason for it? It just happened out of nowhere.
Maybe a component part is defect or something.
I hope somebody is able to help me out.

The display doesn’t show one thousandth- it shows 5/1000th. They are still being displayed!
The TNC121 shows a maximum of 3 post decimal positions in max. 5/1000 steps- the 3rd position after the comma is always a 0 or a 5-
But please can you explain your problem more detailed
I understand it that only the third position after the comma counts?!- If yes, then the display of the other positions is dead or frozen?

So, I switch on the machine. X,Y and Z are of course equal to 0,000.
When I change something on the Z axis, then the display goes to 0,005 and after again to 0,000 (instead of 0,010), then back to 0,005 and so on.
Meaning the millimetre, tenths and hundredths always stay on zero.

How did you test it? Switched Z for Y? Does a different glass scale show the same behaviour when you connect it to the output of the Z axis?
