new labtop will not run mach3 on my diy router

I purchased a dell 15 inspiron windows 8 64 bit and uc100 motion controller for my cnc router and am not getting any jog from the motors. I have been through three weeks of banging my head against this thing and still have no movement. mach 3 and the controller shows me that everything is working but again no movement??? what am I missing?

SInce the UC100 is using a plugin running in MACH that would be the place to start. Try it on another PC with WIN7 64 bit and see if you get motion. Unfortunately all MACH knows is that it is sending trajectory information through the plugin to the device.
