I am running single phase power to my Haas Mini Mill 2. Should I use a 2 pole or 3 pole switch? The mill is about 35 feet from the panel. Panel is in a different room.

If you only have single phase then depending on what country you live in, NA 2 Pole and Ground 60A supply, is all that is needed, but it may be cheaper to buy the 3 pole but only use ( 2 ) of the switched PolesQuote:

My new Mini Mill 2 is now installed and making chips. Used #6 wire. I was delayed for a while as I had trouble finding a Federal Pioneer breaker. Really happy with the mill. It is so much faster than my Pulsar or my buddy's Tormach 1100. Thanks to everyone for your help answering my questions.Quote:
