CNC Serial Communication functions

Hi All,
I work as the IT & Systems Engineer for my company and have developed a send and receive application for the transfer of programs to our Mills and Lathes,
My application also does some analysis using Q500 and Q600 codes for what the machine is doing and tool usages on the machine, it connects in with our MRP system and only allows programs asigned to the job card to be loaded and does a comparison on return of the program to ensure the relevant people are informed of any changes,

What I want to look at is whether or not using this application I could also check what programs are currntly in the machine and where necessary delete programs from the memory such as when being returned,

At current when a program is returned only a copy is sent back and one is left on the machine,
Does anyone know if there is either a function on a HAAS mill to delete file after successful transfer or if there is a way to analyse the content and delete accordingly?
