CimcoV8 to Fanuc MPXi transmission glitch

Hi

The issue: The G/M code file is fine in Cimco editor. When I transfer it back to the CNC mill the program now has semicolons between each line of code as well as the ones that usually appear at the end of each line (end of block). I've tried to find the reason and have come up with nothing.

Example

o0001
G0 G90 G54 etc etc ;
;
G1 X0Y0Z0 ;
;
and so on.


I'm teaching in a technical college (gunsmithing/machining) and have'nt touched a CNC mill for a decade. CAM programs are all new to me as I always programmed at the machine. So if I ask stupid question, its because I'm basically a newbie.....
