Re: Radius bend - salvagnini
HI FRIEND
What software do you use?
Or do you do it manually
Is the sysconshelf?
Is P4?
If you have these characteristics maybe I could help you

Thank you for replay!
I had made the first program in Edit P4 software and edited it manually.
I have a P4 file.
Sysconshelf... I gues yes. I may check it tomorrow.
Now I have not an access to that PC.
Code what I used for bending.
ROT: S 1
BEN: L 15.00 A 90.00
BEN: L 21.64 A 90.00 R 16 STEP 22 AC 12/22 MODE 1
I think must be some trick for this operation.
Re: Radius bend - salvagnini
Is correct friend
Mode does not need it
The program is correct
Just take into account that when you adjust the angle in the radius, it will correct according to the steps you have.
In this case you have 22 steps
How much is here?

Re: Radius bend - salvagnini
What about this question?
Do you mean If I will set the angle 90 I will get different angle after different numbers of steps?
I always divide Angle Correction on steps.
I thought we need use ZF statement to approach blade to bending line as we have short shelf before radius.
I used MODE 1 ZF 1.35
But it had not helped.
Maybe we need insert one bend beetwin L 15.00 and L 21.64?
Some thing like this:
ROT: S 1
BEN: L 15.00 A 90.00
BEN: L 4.6 A 5.00
BEN: L 17.00 A 90.00 R 16 STEP 22 AC 12/22
Re: Radius bend - salvagnini
so is . If you are correct you have to decide for the steps you have.
Other tips.
You do not need to declare in the program angle of 90 (A 90.0)
The machine calculates it.
Unless you use a different angle if you have to declare it.
example
A 85.0
A 45.0
A 60.0 ETC .....
And the ZF is to make a more closed angle in the doubles

OK! Thank you! I had forgoten this.
Another my thought is about different rigidity of our steel comparatively for steel of example part.
We need try other types of steel.
Re: Radius bend - salvagnini
I had solved this trouble.
The trick is on the shelf length of bend with a radius.
It was no any logic as for me but it works.
For example thickness of panel is 21.5 mm. But L parameter must be less than geometrical size.
BEN: L 19 R 15 AC 10/18 STEP 18 (but by the drawing L must be 21.5)
