I tried dragging and couldn't get it to happen.
I just tried it and it will turn the buttons black (not all of them) if you click outside of the button and drag onto the button. Several buttons on the Run screen will do this. But switching to another tab and back seems to refresh the screen and the buttons are viewable again.
Yep, that does it.
Let me see if I can get it to stop.
In the mean time, don't do that. ;)
Fixed it.
If anyone wants a fix for the "black buttons", email me and I'll send you a new .set file.
Note that only the toolbar buttons are "fixed". Other buttons may still turn black if dragged onto.
Good to see you found the cause, possibly happens to me using a touch screen.
PM you my email
Thanks Gerry and Claytonc
It was the operator. ;)Quote:

It's just due to Mach3's goofy display techniques. I took a short cut so I didn't have to add a transparent image to every button on 4 different screen files. Once I add the transparent image, I can no longer see where the buttons are in the Screen Designer, which can make editing a bit of a pita.
But it's done now, and should be much better for you.
:)
someone know a good settings for the CV in 2010 screen i don't know alot about it. I have read a little on it. i'm look at running my cnc i little fast, i have mover my velosity up to 100( it was at 50) but my acceleration is at 10. my axes are a little on the healy side so i run the acceleeration slower.
thank you
CV settings depend on the machine, and what you're cutting. You might want different settings for 2D cutting vs 3D cutting, for example.
Unfortunately, the different settings can require a lot of trial and error to find out how they affect your machine, and what settings work best.
Something weird is going on with my Z axis. If I am running a part and stop it so I can back up and do a "Run from here" the Z jumps to -30 (inches). So, after clicking OK the first thing that happens is it crashes past the limit switch to the point of grinding the motor... It seems to be completely random as I can sometimes run a part with tool changes and it will complete without errors.
After this happens for the first time I manually move the Z axis to the 0 point and reset Z to zero it will already have the -30 in the Z axis coordinates popup box, which is not changeable at that point for some reason.<O:p</O:p
I've searched the forums but didn't find anyone having this type of problem... If so, I couldn't find it. Hope someone has some idea of whats going on... Strange stuff...
"Run From Here" is pretty scary and does lots of crazy things. I started using "Set Next Line" and things seem to work much better because the file is parsed again and all the most recent settings are used for that line.

Does it still happen after a reboot? The only thing I can think of is a corrupt .xml file.
