    Recommended Dip Switch Settings

    My installation consists of a Mk3/4 controller board with DM556 drivers and Nema 23, 1.8nm 3 amp motors. Just need to know what would be a good starting point regarding the Pulse/revs settings to use for the stepper drivers?

    This is for a CNC milling machine which will be used for machining metals especially brass, the smallest cutter I intend to use will be 0.20mm.

    Depends in your machine mechanics. Set is so that your SPU settings in TNG will be between 400 and 1000 .

    Okay, so if I set the dips at 800 that would be a good starting point then?
