Restoring old D&M5 lathe, Ezilathe software issue

I've done the download multiple times. Create a new folder in C drive, unzip everything to that. Manually put in the Materials folder. Keep getting Materialm.txt error in field 2. Materials don't show in Speeds/Feeds. Everything else appears to work, but without a material to select I can't create g-code from my DXF file.
    Thanks,
    rd

Sorry to see you are having issues with Ezilathe. There are 2 copies of the Materialm.txt in the Download (Both the same), you could try the other.
Did you copy all the files from the Metric or Imperial Directories to C:\Ezilathe. It Helps to get going straight away from New.

This is the content of the File, It is a CSV format Text file, so the placements of commas is important.
That having been said, if you have the Comma set under windows as the Decimal Separator, you will need to adjust as stated in the Help file or PDF under Getting Started/International Settings.

    Material Name,Hss,HSStin,Carbide,CarbideTin,Kp
    Aluminum,152,198,259,305,0.9
    Soft Steel,29,40,76,76,1.2
    Medium Steel,23,35,66,84,2.1
    Hard Steel,8,20,38,66,3
    Brass,70,99,168,212,0.82
    Bronze,61,84,137,168,1.5
    Soft Cast Iron,28,34,69,82,0.96
    Hard Cast Iron,8,20,40,60,1.94
    Other,30,30,30,30,2

An error in the Materialm.txt will prevent speeds / feeds being calculated, but Will not stop Production of Gcode from DXF data.

    Hope this Helps.
