Question Robocut Alpha 0B, restore backup

    Hi
I recently bought Robocut Alpha 0B 1995. and I would like to upload a backup because all data has been deleted at the moment. ([ON]+[DEL]+[Reset]). How can I do this? I have the files:
    -DGS.PAR
    -PARAMETE.DAT
    -PITCH.ERR
    -PMC.DAT
The second issue is errors 417 (servo alarm:X/Y/U/V AXIS DGTL PARAM) and 351 (SPC ALRAM:X/Y/U/V AXIS COMMUNICATION). Does anyone know this machine and can help?

    Regards
    Krzysztof

Re: Robocut Alpha 0B, restore backup

Probably axes drives are down, or at least not comunicating with the power unit.
Take a look inside the cabinet on the right side of the machine and there are two double axes controllers with small one digit display on each. There may be some number displayed that will help to diagnose the problem.
As for uploading backup check the manuals:

Thanks for your reply. I'll check tonight if there are any error numbers. Is there a way to contact you?

Error 417 was caused by bad servo settings. Currently there is error 351 spc on all axes. On two servo amplifiers "-" is displayed. I don't think all encoders/servo amplifiers are dead. Could it be the power supply section or lack of battery power? (Battery replaced but maybe something in the servo drive is not connecting?)

    - on amplifiers is ok.it's waiting for machine to be ready. Usually it occurs when e-stop is pushed in.
I'm not sure what error 351 means, probably it holds the machine in not ready condition.

Re: Robocut Alpha 0B, restore backup

Error 351 is a problem with communication with the encoder. In the B-65165e/02 manual, check each selected bit in the diagnostics window (page 139). I will check and let you know.

u may need to reset the drives.
In parameters->servo settings U need to set each servo initial bits and reset the machine.
