    Saving an xy zero?

    Resetting my zero for x and y is a bit of a pain. Is there a way to save the xy zero between jobs.? I

    you can add a g10 to your programs if your parts are being located in the same previous positions between jobs

    If your machine has home switches, you can record the offsets from the home position and go back to them next time.

    It’s an LC4896 model. Recording the offsets from home is a good idea.

    Home the machine.
    Set your Xyz zeroes wherever you want them.
    Click setup, offsets.
    Store current origin button.
    Pick a slot # to use.

    To retrieve an origin:
    Home the machine
    Click setup, offsets

    Double click in the use column to put an x there to select it.
    Click use at the bottom of the screen.
    Say ok
    All set!
