  1. Re: CNC 6040 connection FI MK100-2S1.5G-DK to mainboard JP-3163B cabling question

No don't change the link 24v

So when you turn on the spindle in the control M3S12000 you should get around 5v

Is the N0 to Gnd with your meter closing when you turn the spindle on, there...

No such thing as a preprogramed VFD unless someone power it up and set it up, they normally come depending what country you live in as 50Hz or 60hz which is for standard 3Ph Ac motors these spindles...

Re: Designing servo driven bt30 setup

If there was a fixed end cap you would have a regular seal running on the inner spacer that is how it is normally done if you where in a dirty environment, if that end is open in your design then a...

Re: Designing servo driven bt30 setup

It would be pretty bad setup if he had Coolant and chips at that end of the spindle, coolant if he had a through coolant spindle but there is no chance of that with this spindle design
  6. Re: Bridgeport 1000 vmc retrofit with y axis surface finish issues

You may have to in your case, your machine is far from new, and there are many things that can cause this what is the Gain setting you are using
  7. Re: Why does this program make the machine crash? - with video

Now you have it set up basically how it should be, try this I'm not sure what your radius ( R ) is but change it to suit what you need

Your first X Y move into position also needs to be used with...

Correct that is how most cartridge spindles are fitted, ( Machining centers any way ) but any way that works for your build will be fine you can always take more out if you had to, you can adjust the...

Re: What machine controller should I use?

Centroid is probably the only one that would be a good fit, but you will have your work cut out if you want to use any of the Mazak drives Etc.
  12. Re: Bridgeport 1000 vmc retrofit with y axis surface finish issues

The servo should be fine try a 5 or 6 flute for a finish pass no more than .005" cut and see if it is still the same slow feed as well
  13. Re: Why does this program make the machine crash? - with video

No not at all, if there is no tool change Like a T1M6 in the code, then he must move the Z axis into a safe position then you can move X Y axis

Once a Machine is homed it knows where Z0 is so...
  14. Re: Bridgeport 1000 vmc retrofit with y axis surface finish issues

How many flutes is the cutter it looks like it is at every flute contact, the Y axis on these machines have a lot of weight on it so a big portion of this is caused by slipstick, what size servo are...

    It would work like this

I wonder though where his Z0 is because he has all positive numbers for...
  16. Re: CNC router build to machine wood and aluminium (1mX1mX0.4m)

You don't normally need the diameter to be more than ( .1mm ) under or a diameter 14.9mm this will depend on the quality of the nut, if the bearing size is 15mm then this will let the bearing slide...

  25. Re: Controlling/adjusting spindle decel ramp speed Okuma LC20

  30. Re: CNC router build to machine wood and aluminium (1mX1mX0.4m)

Use Proximity switches less problems than switches, the all aluminum couplings are no good there are some in stainless that are better, diaphragm couplings are the best
