    Re: Fanuc 20-T

    Hi,

Normally when your Memory is write protected you have a (physical) key to put it ON/OFF.
What happens when you add e.g. 2. or -2. [+INPUT] in Edit or Jog mode to the [ Shift Value ] /...

    Hi,

    Your G10 L2 P2 is for a mill, not a lathe.
    1st. -- I assume your lathe doesn't have the G54 - G59 otherwise you DON'T use G10, and especially NOT in X, only in Z !!!
2nd. -- Do you have the...

Try to do a tool index and look if the orange LED switches for one side to the other on the hydraulic solenoid (valve) for "lifting/releasing" the turret.

    Hi,

What brand turret, it's a Doosan alarm, did it throw a message for 2024.
    Probably a proximity sensor.

Re: Fanuc 18iTB G84 will not reverse.

Okay, it's possible it doesn't work.
I had a double spindle - double turret with Fanuc 18i-TB and the G84 didn't work on the spindle (centre-line), I had to use the G184 with live tooling.
    In the...

Re: Fanuc 18iTB G84 will not reverse.

Few questions, I assume you want to tap on X0. centre line with the main spindle !!!
Did G84 work before, .... can you do it with a live tool (G184) ??
If nothing works you can use a ER collet...

Re: Fanuc O-M Leadwell CNC mill 086 P/S alarm

    Hi,
I assume you have a USB - 9 pin modem cable with the correct 9 pin to 25 pin adapter, there's no USB to 25 pin cable !!
When all hardware and software settings are correct it should work.
    Btw....

    Hi,
I can make a BIN-file for you with the programs you want to test, main and sub, you can make a simple one just for a few tools.
    Your control needs the [ MEM-CARD ] and [ MEMORY-CARD ] soft-keys...
  14. Re: Understanding the TXXXX offset function on a Fanuc

    Hi,

Your story is partially correct and so is theirs.
T0101 calls Position 01 ( Geometry ) and Wear Offset 01, let's say you have a 12 station turret with 1 Tool per holder and you want...
  15. Re: FANUC OiMF EMERGENCY MESSAGE NOT RESET

    Hi,

Probably one of the batteries, you can get a "low battery" alarm but it can also caused by the "hour counter" for those batteries.

Do you run the edit program-tool straight from the software disk ?
Be sure you run the FANUCPRG.exe file from Harddisk or USB-stick to drag files back to PC.

  21. Re: Clausing/Kondia b500 mill Fanuc O-M Lost tool change prog O9001

    Hi,

When you have all the manuals sometimes there is a printed code of the ATC-macro in one of the books or Electrical/Ladder Diagram book.
Check all of them and maybe you're lucky to find it.

  24. Re: Rigid Tapping G84, reversing feed out faster

    Hi,
I assume you use FANUC because you're in the FANUC forum and you use the Metric system.
Within FANUC you can use G94 (mm/min) and G95 (mm/rev) for tapping, so two examples for a M10 x 1.5 tap:...
  25. Re: Software "Fanuc Memory Card Transfer Tool"

There still options to use CF card for large programs by DNC or M198 via CF Card.
There are lots of videos on YouTube that shows you how to do it.

  28. Re: Software "Fanuc Memory Card Transfer Tool"

As for as I know not on a 18i - series, you will need at least a 0i-D series with A02B-xxxx-R642.
For the Program Transfer Tool, probably it will work with a correct Ethernet connection.
