Anyone have any experience with these things?
The specs look too good to be true.
A basic 1" ID x 1.125" OD x 1" long CJS1616 has a static load rating of 38,000 lbs and costs less than $8!
Is...
No sense asking based on the controller board. the 840D was used in a ton of entirely different machines. That is what the Trumpf Laser I formerly programmed used.
I was talking hobby (no FFL), and minimum machine capacities and accuracies. Something that could take CNC controls down the line somewhat easily might be nice, but I am certainly not in an economic...
I am talking about 1 alloy here, not 2. I wouldn't think you'd want to router any but the softest and easiest to machine metals. Aluminum-bronze would not qualify.
Its a 3kw CO2 laser. Like I said 3/8" Aluminum would be near its limit, but since I'd be just cutting it into strips, I wouldn't have to worry about a pierce.
If you think Plasma will give a...
I need to cut up some 3/8" Aluminum-Bronze. The question is do I use the plasma or the laser. 3/8 aluminum should be doable the laser with an edge or O2 pierce (haven't tried it yet). Do you think...
The company picked up a used 3kw Trumpf L3030, and I have run into at least 1 set of missing tech tables (12ga stainless), and I'd assume others might be missing too.
Any ideas where I might be...
