In mastercam screen, go to settings drop down, machine definition, (top of page Icon) control definitions,go to NC output ( list on left) you will see Sequence numbers turn it off by unchecking box...

If you go to start, programs, mastercam x3 you will see a Documentation folder in there this folder has a Mastercam Art Tutorial PDF file in there. This should show some of the stuff you are looking...

Do the cut at top plane and type in the index angle you need in the machine after you post it. This will work if 0,0,0 is the same as the index plane.
