  1. Re: UCCNC issue - Y axe shifting and reset zero during job -

    I can only bet:

    - Code is wrong.
    - If the axis stalls at that certain point only, check if the linears or bearings or whatever supports that machine if it has any problems there.
    - Also check...

    Re: New 2x4 Saturn build

Then Vcarve calculating the time incorrecly or the Centroid doing the feedrate incorrectly.
What the UCCNC laser plugin calculates for this kind of laser engraving jobs is always correct however it...
  3. Re: E-Stop getting triggered when interpolating circles

Probably because your spindle motor is producing more noise if the depth of the cut is higher and if the feedrate is higher.
Did you try to set the debounce parameter in the UCCNC to filter out the...

    Re: Need help please

Mechanix, you comparing apples to oranges. He is building a control box with the motor drivers, breakout board, power supplies etc. And you comparing it to a CNC controller which is basically a...

    Re: UCCNC and Win10 questions

OK I undertand it now. I remember a few times my Z stepper stall with Mach3 and I always thought that some dust or something went into the Z screw, but now that you explained this I know that it...

    Re: UCCNC and Win10 questions

And I used mach3 first and I did not see any difference in the THC performance, the only difference was that UCCNC runs the path smoother and more reliable.

    Re: UCCNC and Win10 questions

Interesting because it is still a stepper motor which needs acceleration and decceleration no matter if it is THC control or whatever. I don't think mach3 did that you probably misunderstanding...

    Re: UCCNC and Win10 questions

Of course you have to run with acceleration. Your motor loose steps if you run it without acceleration.

    Re: UCCNC and Win10 questions

I never had any of these problems. I'm running a THC (proma 150) for 2 years now with which the UCCNC controls the Z axis. It runs flawless.

    Re: UCCNC and Win10 questions

UC motion controllers all work with both Mach3, Mach4 and UCCNC. You can run both softwares, just just need a UC100 or UC400ETH or UC300ETH or AXBB-E controller. My advice is to get an ethernet...

    Re: UCCNC and Win10 questions

You can use Windows 10. with UCCNC.
What type of machine is this? Plasma? If it is plasma then you will need THC controller. especially if you will cut thin and bent sheets.
  12. Re: Problem with "GOTO ZERO" & returning to where I started

I'm happy that I could help you.
  13. Re: Problem with "GOTO ZERO" & returning to where I started

Press enter key on your keyboard after typing in the 3 in the box.

No you can't turn it off, it would be unsafe to not lift the Z just go through everything on the table.
Or you can turn it off...

Re: 1st Build, will this be a decent Design?

You can put in a diode and a buffer capacitor. That is how the SMPSs are connected in my machines. The diode protects the PSU from the spikes and the capacitor buffers the voltage. And you can...

    Re: NCStudio OR Controller

Or you could use a small fanless computer, which is just a fully enclosed box with PC functionality with less power than what a real computer has, but still powerful enough for CNC control.

    Re: NCStudio OR Controller

In this case you will really need some kind of pendant controller, if you don't want a computer in your workshop.
But then you will be limited to what that pendant can do. You cannot design anything...

Re: 1st Build, will this be a decent Design?

Did you check the AXBB-E manual? It answers all of your questions. :)
It supports 6-axis, but only pins for 4 motors are wired out onto the screw terminals, if you want to connect more then you can...

Re: Looking for Advise / Opinions

Square rails are much more rigid because they take up the rotational force also.
Round rails and slides can move rotate around and they will do if your machine frame is not rigid enough.
    Also round...

    Re: Masso CNC Control Issues

This is why I'm using UCCNC, because it is pretty stabile, more stabile as Mach3 and is customisable and has more functionality as the Acorn.
  23. Re: Special offer UC100 with free UCCNC license key!

I bought one at that time but a friend of mine took it off my hands. I thought my new machine build will go slower than how it actually went and now I'm without controller.
    I saw this post and...
  24. Re: Special offer UC100 with free UCCNC license key!

Will there be any similar special offer for AXBB-E anytime soon?
I need one soon so it would be nice.
