As long as your not getting close to 200 you should be fine. I think the last time i measured my spindle bearing temp it was around 150f ish.

Yeah I am excited to see what they announce.
Hey guys,
Im wondering if a 1994 Kitamura Mycenter X3 with a Nikken Indexer and chip conveyor would be something to consider for purchase for a start up. With the Fanuc O-M can you add compact...
I agree and this is where I am currently at and the changes look well worth the wait as long as it is reasonable.
Edited due to no value in my post.
Check out the shear hog. It does really well in high mrr in aluminum for the spindle horsepower the 1100 has.

The latest rumor I heard was June 4th for the announcement. Im interested in what they will be doing!
I have been pondering this myself. If it’s a standard feature then it has value, but if they are charging an additional $500+ for the feature I’m going to pass. To me the Tormach is a good gateway...
Rumor is there will be two versions of the machine. 1100M and 1100MX. The MX will be the servo driven model and has rigid tapping. The base casting is different which suggest larger y travels. ...
John probably has one in the back room lol. These changes will close the gap on a haas entry level mill and the Tormach feature wise. This will also widen the gap price wise as well.
So I have been digging in the FB groups concerning the 1100M that was used at Battlebots. I have some info from first hand use and pictures! Faster spindle, enclosure changes, and possibly rigid...
Not buying too much machine starting off is definitely something that I constantly evaluate. At the end of the day I can go Tormach if my funds are more limited and still be able to make parts. No...
Awesome! This is great to hear! Thank you for your feedback!
Quick question. Would an Orange Vise 16” dual station vise work on the TM1P? What buses would someone recommend for this mill?
Awesome! What work holding solutions are you using? I was thinking of getting orange vise 16” double station model for my future T1MP purchase. What do you like and dislike as far as the mill and...

I’m leaning currently more to the TM2P for the travels. I’m 5 months out and people are already asking about work.
I have and I would consider it, but power is a limiting factor. If my business takes off and goes full time then the vf series will be the next upgrade.
This may sounds backwards, but at this price point I’m going I look at the TM2P due to travel size. I already have people interested in work and I’m 5 months out on a machine purchase. I did...
Does the high flow coolant require three phase power or will it run off of single phase?
On the subject of the mini mill, I know the z axis is 6" shorter, but you have 4" between the spindle head and the the table at its lowest point. The Tormach, you can lower the spindle all the way...
So the mini mill would be a better investment then? If I couple the lights out machining then the Haas pulls ahead.
How is everyone tonight? So I have an upcoming mill purchase coming up. I am looking at a Haas Mini Mill , Mini Mill2, or a Tormach PCNC1100 with the part maker package. I am not trying to start a...

Any updates?
Congrats on the new machine. If The Lord is willing, I will hopefully start a rf45 conversion next year. Your thread will be one of the few I have read through the last couple years for this...
I am very interested in this as well.
