I'm very interested in buying a chinese machine such as a Jinan CX6060 or CX6090 but I have a few questions. Is it possible to buy the machine without any electronics or spindle? I have my own drive...
I would like a complete package of three if you start making them again.

6061 aluminum
1"x1"x36"
Will drop ship material unless you can source local
No chatter in surface finish
Tolerances aren't critical, .01" is fine.
Use of 1/8" ball mill is acceptable

We have a repeating job of laser cutting balsa. The materials are varying thicknesses of balsa, between 1/16" and 3/16". All parts come in standard 4"x36" sizes. We can supply material if needed. If...
Hello everyone,
It's been a while since I've been around this forum.
I am now in college, struggling with finances, and am looking for a little extra work on the side to help out. I'm looking...
Jim, did you get my email?

Is anyone in the Houston or Texas area interested in buying it? Give me a call at 281 403 1893 and we can chat about it.
Thanks,
Andrew
Our bridgeport clone knee mill ballscrew yoke finally cracked, and now I need a new one very badly. Does anyone have a spare?
Congrats! Hopefully this doesn't kill any of your spare time for your always interesting projects?
That is truely art!
I'm in missouri city, right outside of houston. I would be glad to talk about cnc, retrofits, cad, and all that fun stuff. PM me with your number.
I finally got the rs232 up and running. I still would like to see someone's gcode from a CAM program if possible.
Nice looking compressor!
Will do. I called them this morning to try to find any machine shops around here that already used Onecnc, but the closest was an hour away. I guess that means I'll need to sell this guy on the...
I start work at a real machine shop this week! The shop mainly does cnc lathe work, but the owner just bought a knee mill for simple 2nd op mill work. It has an Anilam Crusader M control with a rs232...
I was hoping there was a simple way ;)
I swear, finding and purchasing a proper solenoid valve must be harder than buying nuclear weapons. Hopefully someone can help me out here. I am working on a semi automatic pneumatic pellet gun,...
Zip the dxf file before attaching it.
I'm in with Onecnc.
Looks great anoel!
VERY nice work! For a high speed non contact rpm meter, check out ebay for the ones we use for rc cars. Our nitro motors do over 40k rpm, and these meters do a great job at picking up the speed with...
Hey Jim, it's good to be back! Thanks for the good word :)
I finally got the electronics hooked up, and it sounds great! My goal was to make it sound as much like an acoustic as possible, and I...
I'm still alive!
School has been keeping me extremely busy, and in any free time I've been working on some larger cnc orders. Needless to say that leaves little time to make anything fun for...
Very nice! I'm definitely passing this link along to some people :)
I've got a welch vacuum pump capable of 10cfm and it will pull 29.5HG, or as close as is practical to a perfect vacuum. I've got an 11"x9" table in the mail. I'm hoping I'll be able to do profiling...
What is the max depth of cut you can take with that table? I'm trying to get a feel for how much force you can put on these in relation to the surface area.
I get 20ipm with a wimpy 18lb-in servo driving the .2" ballscrew with 4:1 reduction.
The Bridgeport series II cnc mill has the Z axis on the knee straight from the factory. When you put 60psi in the counterbalence air piston it works quite nicely. Al is correct about drilling though....
Any pictures?
