It is a weird request.
Unless you want to copy the design?

Yes it does need replacement. I'm sure greasing would help. I think it binds with the side loading and is why it tightens more at each point.

Only reason I mentioned it as one I have never fully tightens by using just one. Each key hole you use tightens it a bit more and is fully tight when all 3 are done. It's not my general practice but...
Also try tightening the drill on all 3 key location points. As you might find you can get it a bit tighter.

Very nice workshop you have.

Nice, when I hung mine I thought i should change the design to cover the top as well.

Just received my probe and it looks great. Haven't had time to try it out yet but I 3D printed a nice holder for it so it's ready to go....
I also think a stand alone lathe is a different market to rapid turn or duality lathe.

Yeah I would buy a mini slant pro. Can't afford the current one and not sure if I want the rapid turn yet.
But a mini slant pro would be perfect.

Great, thanks for the update.
Are you still extending the testing period or will this new batch be shipping out?
So now that's done, is a ETS next? 😁

How did you get on with testing this?
Looks interesting.
If you insert a USB stick you can move the files back and forth into different folders. Not the nicest way to do but at least it can be tidied up.
Ok that must have been it. I have a few accessories like the coolant pump that was 110v.
Sorry for miss leading you there a bit.
Really?
I got my brother to hook it up and he's an electrician, he told me at the time that there were some components that are 110v only. I know you can switch the power supply a on the computer...
Exactly.
It's rather frustrating that you need to specify every little component.
I got the metric TTS starter kit and it came with everything.
It comes with a standard drawbar but I got the power...
I got a 1100.
No. It requires 2 sources of power.
US 2phase (220v)
And US single phase (110v)
So the controls side runs on 110v and main power 220v.
So you need the power converter.
I...
Yep it's a frustrating money pit for a while.
I asked Tormach about the 110v supply and they just said I needed to change a few solenoids to 220v and I should be fine. Got my mill and found the...
Had same problem. Contacted about 6 companies and it seems like they don't want the business.
Buy the way you can get the 110v converter from B&H photo much cheaper even with the delivery cost. It's...
A year ago they told me it would be $390usd to have the mill sent to Qingdao Port where the freight forwarder can collect it.
There would be 2 crates from China sent to Qingdao Port and a skid...
I used door to door freight forwarder. Really good service. He even gave me the boat info so I could track it on the way over.
Price from China was the same as coming from the states. Also the main...
I have actually changed the Rapid Feed Rate speed on my Tormach to 150inch per min on X/Y and 120 on Z.
It's so much nicer to use and it even sounds nicer when it Rapid moves.
There is a lot of...
I use A Tormach and I found only one of the files I have edited had that weird tool path that I can't get rid of.
When I load an old model it says the machine schema used in the project has been...
Yep. I bit the bullet and upgraded due to a string of issues I was having with Sprutcam 10 after a windows reinstall.
My tool Libary now works properly finally and I must say SprutCam 11 has a lot...
After watching videos of the clear path servos on NYC CNC I have dreamed of putting a set on my Tormach. It's just a matter of time before people will be.
If the comments you added above are true...
Well I have just been battling with the tool library for the last couple of hours so the other improvements better be good.
Most of the new features they are advertising are not so important for me...
So are these units now in production for sale or are they still being beta tested?
I use SprutCam as I got it with my tormach not long ago. Doing basic things it ok but the whole user interface is not user friendly and I hope SprutCam really starts to put a lot of effort in...
