I think it will work.
I made my nuts with the same principle.
The only thing difference is that I use a spring between the two nuts.
One nut is fixed the other one floats.
...
If it's connected via usb it will probably not work.
It's ok for sending data to a printer but not for realtime control.
Maybe this is a solution : http://www.warp9td.com/
But it isn't...
They don't.
I use a regulated (switching) supply.
Can't you use a bigger bearing, with an ID of 14mm, and "lock" it with two trapezium nuts ?
I think that if you turn the Tr14 down to 10mm there's enough "flesh" to clamp on.
There are also...

The price is without VAT. : 7500 Euro.
The txt is in dutch and it doesn't say what's included for the price.

Just pair them at the motor side. Electrical it makes no difference.
No.
Look for a Pentium III 500 Mhz minimum.
1GHz is more sufficient I believe.
You can use it for turbocnc (DOS) though.
You're from norway but you only ship to the US ???
Do you actually sell something yourself in the "webshop" or are the ads from google and the ebay commission your only source of income ?
To me...
In some country's in europe it's illegal to grow your own hops.
But not where I live fortunatly.

You'll probably have to save it in an older version of dxf (R14).
I'll pm my email adress and see what I can do.
I'll try :).
In what format are you exporting from illustrator ?
Hello Colin, the label says 500 Watt wich I think is the output power.
The label also says 180 VDC and 4 Amps wich would mean it takes 720 Wats of power. The speed control only gives around 150 VDC...
Hi,
I have a minilathe, a CH-350. It comes with a 500w motor and a decent speed control. I machined aluminium and steel with it. Nothing heavy but it was ok....
I tried that but it didn't work.
It will probably work if you can drive them with one speedcontrol or synchronize the the speedcontrols somehow.
I'm running my minilathe (non cnc yet) with two servomotors on one speedcontrol...
Wow, looks great.
Great pictures too.
I think you only need two resistors.
One on the emitting side that limits the current through the led.
And you'll probably need a pull-down on the receiving side.
Those resistors can be found in...
You realy want to connect limit switches through the lpt port.
Mach directly contols the lpt port.
If you do it through the IPAC there can be slight delay wich is not desirable with homing/limits....
Most of her strength are in the linear rails, wich are INA and not THK.
The rails is 45 x 45 x 280 mm so it's very rigid by itself.
Moment ratings are 2485 Nm and they're heavy preloaded.

I believe you can buy them at farnell (www.farnellinone.nl) as a private person (not a company) if you pay in advance.
Another (cheap) way is to sample them.
Look for it at the National...
Thanks for the nice replies.

So far I have only cut aluminium. All scrap pieces so I don't know the exact alloy.
I can cut alu with a 10 mm carbide endmill at a d.o.c. of 3 mm and a...
The machine is up and running.
I've got some issue's with the z-axis stepper but I think I got it sorted now.
Funny that it runs better with the coils put in series then parallel (bipolar).

I use a p3 866 MHz 256 MB with mach3 to run my little mill.
If you stay in 25khz kernell speed you'll be fine.
For a standalone machine win2k is also fine. I believe it even uses less resources...
Over here we use that kind of notation a lot.
8h7 means 8.000 to 8.015 mm.
I don't think you want your a/b nuts case hardened.
The nuts are easier/cheaper to replace then the leadscrew.
I use a/b nuts made made out of delrin (aka acetal).
There's some squashing but...
If you use those motors unipolar then they draw 4A each.
In my opinion they are a bit weak for your application.
They should have a reasonable high speed due to the low mH.
So I gues you can gear...
Do you mean this motor : http://www.mir-elektronik.de/motoren/1,8_86/sanyo1038106.html ?
It's the only 4A motor I could find on the site you mentioned
I used a aprox. 4 year old laptop, a compaq evo n1015v.
The output at the LPT is 5v.
It runs Mach and turbocnc and even emc.
I believe most pentiumIII/IV and amd athlonXP/duron laptops have...
