  1. Re: They look the same, Conventional and Climb cutting

The tool path arrows do change, right, left, etc. I would like to figure out how to force left (climb).

    Here they are.
  2. Re: They look the same, Conventional and Climb cutting

I did a sample climb run, and it is as I mentioned. Vectric has a simulator and it is the same as I have experienced.

  4. They look the same, Conventional and Climb cutting

I am resurfacing and noticed climb was a better cut with my machine. In Vectric, I cannot force climb, it does both.

In Vectric I can select climb or conventional however on the tool path preview...

    Re: Programming in C

While technically correct, the linuxcnc HAL and INI syntax are very complex and could be viewed as a unique interpreted language. I assume it looks trivial to some but most find it daunting. I...

    Re: Programming in C

Then a windows based C compiler is required.

As I am reading this, if one doesn't learn C, they should look for a product other than Dynamotion.

    Programming in C

Can anyone tell me what this implies?

    "Programming in C

To use our products you will need to program at least a little bit in C. "

I understand what programming means and I can...
  9. Re: Is it possible to connect the machine / Panel to an UPS in case of power loss?

That might imply the router momentum is surviving a transition sag that another device would not. Everything is pointing back to a faulty UPS. If the UPS is configurable, reset it to factory specs...
  10. Re: Is it possible to connect the machine / Panel to an UPS in case of power loss?

UPS systems have multiple connections. All are usually filtered and a subset are battery backed. Printers, monitors, and other power hungry devices are put on the filtered outputs to protection from...

First be sure they are not on the same circuit. I was amazed to find how one circuit ran all over my garage. Every house I have ever lived in did the same in the Kitchen, one circuit for all the...

Re: New CNC build with belt driven Z

Interesting. What got me thinking about V Bearings as an option was the V's on CNCRouterParts pricier "Pro" series. I agree with you, CRP102-00 appears superior.

I like the flat bar idea for the...

Re: New CNC build with belt driven Z

By DIY I am implying that I could purchase a complete machine or a kit ready to assemble but, in this case I am choosing to do most of the construction myself. Obviously, doing things like making my...

Re: New CNC build with belt driven Z

I am looking Solsylva as a design starting point and the bearing implementations seem to be the weak point in the design.

ger21 What is superior to V-rollers and still in the DIY category?
