    Re: Syntec 6md networking

Well shoot - I didn't see this response (as Tapatalk seems to be dead on my phone) but yep - that was it the SMB 1.0 settings. I figured it out the long and hard way (and sort of stumbled on it by...

    Syntec 6md networking

    Hi everyone,

Trying to redo the networking to my syntec controller with a new pc.

It's stubbornly not working and as I have had it working on my old PC I just can't see why it isn't.

    I...

Re: Networking Raspberry Pi to Syntec 6MB

Oh and I think the disk remote path part is just internal on windows ce portion (ie where you copy the files to) not really sure why it's there at all.

Re: Networking Raspberry Pi to Syntec 6MB

Well I'm not going to be a lot of help but if your share folder is syntec share then that should be in the spot where 'public' is unless you want to navigate to the syntecshare from public everytime....

Re: Need help! CnC router Syntec 6MB alarm

Unfortunately not sure. I looked through the manual I had but error code mlc 84 is not listed so I guess it's a machine manufacturer added code.

I'd check all the sensors you can think of. I...

Re: Omni 1530 ordered and ongoing log of the process

On another note, had fun the other day when I forgot to remove a shop vac off the rear of the table.

The machine finished a cycle and moved to the middle rear (my finish position) but it...

Re: Omni 1530 ordered and ongoing log of the process

Well I didn't really level the machine on it's feet as I couldn't get the threads going and ground seemed flat enough.

Level of the table was fine basically though I might have reskimmed it to...

    Re: OMNI CNC - Quality

Allen, come on Syntec does support network file loading and network file running (DNC).

I've used both and I load programs from the network all day everyday.

I'll try and remember to screen...

So another little update. The machine has been working hard this year doing covid shields etc. I did a major rework of the support under the grid table and it has been a major major help. This was...

    Re: Syntec 6MB soft limits

Not sure - you should be able to set the limits in further but I don't think the syntec 'looks' for out of limit code when doing the preview (as my last controller Centroid did - it would throw up an...

I've been debating that. I have a chinese machine. The purchase had hiccups but the machine was generally solid (see my other thread for details).

  18. Re: X Axis First Negative Software Limit Reached - Syntec 6MA

Just responded to someone similar with z issue. I think 881-3 parameters are the software offsets? I would just take a look through all the x related parameters, decide on the likeliest one and...

So that error means you have exceeded to software limit for the z axis. You cannot raise it up beyond that without changing the software limit. Usually the software limit would be just before the...

  23. Re: HSD ES951 spindle losing pressure during tool change

What pressure is the tank. The alarm is low pressure, not low volume (that's a whole other issue, needless to say try to avoid that one).

The alarm triggers in the 80s so it might be a little...
  24. Re: HSD ES951 spindle losing pressure during tool change

Yep, the hsd/controller will keep the clamp open while doing the tool change.

Pretty sure my last Canadian made machine did the same.

That said, I can't describe mine as a large volume of air....

Re: OMNI 1530 Spindle air pressure

Well is the z on an air assist? Mine is just on a lead screw so to do what you are saying the servo would need to be randomly moving.

That would normally produce a servo error anyway so not sure...

Re: Chinese CNC Syntec 6MA my experience
