Yes SS 304 is wokhardening and long chiping material. Use Through Coolant crabide drill with sharper gemetry as the surface is radial please first make a flat on dia rather then using pilot drill....

It depends on your machine, if your 4th Axis is Linear Axis unit would be in INCH/MILIMETER, and if your 4th Axis is a Rotary one unit would be in degree.
