Greetings all. I have created an unofficial support page with the intention of easing the sharing of knowledge between everyone. I know not everyone used Facebook, but by this point most do. The...
I ran my 2.2kv without coolant for over a year with no ill effects. Max temp never got over 110°F

You guys seriously are making this way to difficult. Shouldn't make more that 10 min tops. Yea that is done correctly.

Just take one of the screws holding the connector out, make a short wire with ring terminal, run screw from inside through ring terminal through connector. Mine has been this way for over a year now.
No sealant require, there are o-rings at the connection for the water jacket.

Solderer to pin 4 on the inside.

I just picked up a tree 2UV mill and have begun fixing a few small things that I've noticed. The current situation is that even with the spindle lock off, it is very difficult to raise and lower the...
I'm thinking about extending my pro4848 to 48x96 or so and using the added room as a water filled burn table. Has anyone went that route over a removable table?
.75" MDF held down with m6 button heads and roll in connectors. The planks are bolted through the base board and help hold the base down.

Would you mind sharing your tool info and feed / speeds on this? I've got some alum work coming up and don't have much experience with it.
Well I had tap water and bleach in there and I'm pretty sure that makes it electrolytic. Today I cleaned that out and put 50/50 ethylene glycol and distilled water. I didnt check for voltage yet...
I did mine very similarly also. I took a 3/4" MDF sheet, pocketed it and bolted it to the 80/20 rails. Then pocketed and cut planks out of another 3/4"mdf sheet. The planks bolt through the bottom...
I'm not sure how long this issue had been present but I recently discovered about 200v flowing through my cooling water. The way i found it was by adding an external metal radiator (transmission...
Well I was able to trace the movement issue back to .y computer. It seems as though a few of the USB port have issue and when the laser is plugged I to those ports I get the Movement issues. ...
I have a Shenhui 500x700 60w redsail clone that has developed a nasty habit of shocking me. I noticed today that there is ~160v energizing the cooling water, that in turn energizes the aluminum...
Thanks. I'll check and see what mine are this evening.
I get the issue if I change off of the main tab in Mach 3 during a job.
I did notice that using the recommended profile for my PRO4848 machine the Z steps were off. In Mach 3, under the settings tab, you can do a calibration on each axis to get it right.
I was under the impression that the linearity.dat file didn't affect the rpm when using the ESS and PWM control?
Still was not able to get this sorted out. The router is working great, other that the variance between the requested speed and actual speed. Is there a way to calibrate spindle speed when using...
Thanks. I check it out.

I have a 60w Shenhui laser (supposedly 60w). Vector cuts seem to work OK and don't exhibit the issue. Several different files, on different substrate, in different locations on the bed all exhibit...
I have and I'm not. I have replaced the breakout board also and it didn't help at all. When full speed is requested in mach, only about 9v gets output from ESS.

Any insight on my issue? Please see the video.

The highest I can get when manually bumping it up in mach 3 is about 8.8-9.0v. When controlling it from the vfd I can get full speed. I already changed the breakout board and it didn't help out.
To answer my own question, no there isn't. Still looking for a solution. I believe Ahren from CNCRP is going to send me a replacement BOB to try.
Is there a way to calibrate the input PWM range? For some reason my BOB is only outputting 8.8v at full speed and the vfd never gets up to full speed . Tach measured rpm matches displayed, by is...
I'm not in front of my electronics , but is there there a pot on the BOB CNCRP uses for PWM voltage? For some reason I'm still not getting 10v when Mach 3 is calling for full speed. When 12k rpm...
