Most likely that is a memory protect button... It's there so you cannot change anything unless it's off... You should have a memory protect key on the faceboard somewhere you need to turn that off in...

All depends on what you are cutting- will it have intricate small holes if it does laser is best... If it's a large part with large internal holes bigger then 2" then a water jet will work plus you...

I've got a small press by them works well we use it with c frame unipunches to punch holes out.. I'd probably stick with them to make 90 bends nothing accurate.

cnc 99 sounds like an automec product you might want to call them their in MA they can give you a copy of the manual for the backgauge.

Call the machine time $80 an hour for setup time most setups will take between 3-20 min and then cost per each bend whether it requires two or more pieces. So on and so forth

You won't be bad off with any of those machines.. I personally have two new amada brakes with offline software and I just love them.. Cincinnati were alright but they couldn't deliver their machine...
