    You need to reinstall mach3 and void the parallel port option, then go through the proper plug in

    Why would you want a driver serial port? I think the parallel port cards work just fine, usb even better.

    I think you should get a breakout board, your computer might be putting out 3.3volts. You can find one on ebay with relay output for your spindle and coolant pump.

    It sill not rin any slower... Same power, I have ran many 1hp 3phaze motors with 120 volt vfd.

    You can buy a 120vac input vfd to run a three phase motor, I have only seen them up to 1hp. I just found a few on ebay up to 1.5 hp but there could be a mistake.
