  1. Re: 401 servo alarm (VRDY OFF), at turn on, Fanuc OM SOLVED

Next time you get this alarm, check the servo amplifiers in the control cabinet for an alarm number on the 7 segment LED. This should help narrow down what the actual problem is.

Re: HAAS VF7 SPINDLE OVERLOAD 200% HELP

Is the spindle driven by a belt? We had a little Mori that had most of the small V Belts come apart and it had trouble reaching speed and had no cutting power.
  3. Re: Monitor is repeating same message and is unresponsive

Maybe try playing with the pots on the back of the tube. It's been a while, but VHOLD or VSYNC. Maybe the flyback transformer is going out? I've never replaced one, so that's as much as I know.

    Re: Mori Seiki SV-500

This sounds like a power supply issue. The problem will be which one.

Check optional equipment. Could be something is leaving the EStop circuit open until it starts up. Like the spindle chiller.

Re: getting copy of Fanuc ladder

When I punched out the ladder on one of the machines I take care of from the I/O in PMC, the file is an ASCII representation of HEX data.

Re: Parameters affecting M00 and M02

Our Doosans have different behaviors like that can be changed from the Keep Relays.

I'd check the documentation for the machines.

It wasn't an 0i-M but a 16M that I needed to manually input the settings for communication as well as the 9000 parameters. I'll never be sure why it refused to read RS232 until I entered the 9000...

Re: Mori Seiki SL-153 Fanuc 18i TA

This sounds like a power supply issue for the servo amplifier. It may need to be repaired or replaced.

I'm not sure on the steps, but maybe try to repair the installation with a Windows startup disc.
