  1. Re: Somehow messed up Z offset or parameter, please help

It's either on the settings page, or else a physical switch on the control. It's either on or off. Find it and change the state of it and try your setup again

Did you check your manual absolute setting?

    I don't see a G54 in the code there

Maybe you switched the setting for manual absolute, try changing that

Sounds like there is a value in the shift z on your work offset page, offset 00

Re: Fanuc 6MB - LSK INC issue tranfering programm

Are you trying to run a BTR system for big files that don't fit in memory? Or just upload and download smaller programs? To establish rs232 comms I would manually enter a simple program into the...

Re: Fanuc 6MB - LSK INC issue tranfering programm

Looks like you have the stop bits set wrong for input device 2. Your pics show you have device 2 set for 2 stop bits but in your post you say you are using a setting of 1 on the sending end....

Sounds like a manual absolute setting needs changing. I had a 10TF that was like that.

I have been thinking about this some more and maybe I need the tool changer recovery procedure for this machine to get unstuck. Does anyone have the recovery procedure for a makino fnc with fanuc 6m?...

Re: Diagnosing older Fanuc 0T problem

Monitor the coil voltage with an analog meter during the issue and see if the voltage drops. I'd replace the contactor

Re: Spindle servo drive Fanuc keeps failing

Confirm the incoming power first. Use a clamp ammeter to check current draw on each leg while it's running. Check at the main supply into the machine (possible issue with power in the building). If...

Re: Spindle servo drive Fanuc keeps failing

If the thyristors keep blowing up you have a phase loss on the incoming power or an issue with the firing board.

There are multiple offset pages. Are you looking at the geometry page or the wear page? Measure and execute updates the geometry page on the 10T I ran for years
