Re: Chinese "for metal" 4-pole spindle

That would depend on what they term as cutting metal, the spec's where 12,000 RPM to 24,000 RPM this would indicate engraving in metal, which you can do with any of these spindles anyway, it very...

Re: GME's New 80/20 CNC Build - My Design

If you were to modify it at anytime you would fit a aluminum bushing and then this would cut down the diameter of the AF Delrin Bushing size to be made, the pinion end is where a good bearing setup...
  15. Re: DMM Servos with DYN4 Drives on G0704 Random Alarm Issue

Correct, but a Smooth Stepper is a whole lot better than a UC400 and was designed to use with Mach3 which he can use also with Mach4 if at any time he wants to upgrade

Re: GME's New 80/20 CNC Build - My Design

  19. Re: DMM Servos with DYN4 Drives on G0704 Random Alarm Issue

Yes your pulse rate is way to low for any servos, what works well is the UC100 which is 100Khz but even with this you won't get max RPM so yes smooth stepper if you want the max out of what you have ...
