Ok, this is Tele body with pickguard overlay.
You will have to find dimensions of bridge and pot/switch plate.

    Re: 6040 Chinese cnc

OK, your controller is NOT an USB controller. It is standard controller that accepts Step/Dir signals from PARALLEL port.
You need some software that sends these signals over the printer port....

    Re: 6040 Chinese cnc

Which interface do you have (USB -> Parallel)?
You have to be aware that using Chinese USB controllers can be problematic with Mach3, which, BTW, ceased in development 6 years ago.
    I just obtained...

  9. Re: Upgrading from Steppers to Hybrid Steppers (servos) questions

    Math is more than correct,
    600mm/sec = 36000mm/min = 1417,322834646in/min
    800mm/sec = 48000mm/min = 1889,763779528in/min

Anyway it is very fast 36 or 48 m/min

Did you made test firing at the 4 extreme corners of gantry travel and measure diagonals?

For what it can do Uno/Nano is quite capable to run a machine.
If you are inclined to programming, you can use Mega to add extra functionality (if you posses programming skills)

    Re: NCStudio OR Controller

If you have a laptop that is from era of Methusalem, then you might be out of luck that it has autodetect possibility.

Any decent laptop will autodetect the cable type.

Re: Stepper drivers to the arduino

Bare in mind that your drivers are expecting active LOW signals for Step/Dir/Enable.
You should check on arduino the active levels for the same signals.

Laptop is your friend. A cheap one just for controlling your CNC machine.
Buy a decent external controller, not cheap chinese, but one that connects with your computer over LAN cable, eg....

Re: DSP and spindle rpm from gcode

You can not "overpower" the spindle.
Speeds 1 through 8 are programmed in your VFD. Speed selection is via 4 inputs on VFD / outputs from DSP.

    GRBL needs NO switches.
On x and Y axis they should be in parallel.

Between 8251 and DB25 should be some more chips. Perhaps MC1488 line driver and MC1489 line receiver. These are for RS232 communication.
