I decided to pull the unit after confirming it was indeed failing,
Found the main chip was cooked. Ordered another YOC335
and a few of those chips. I should be good, No doubt there are...

My Chinese YOO6040 has been working quite well the past year
after the multitude of out of the box bugs were sorted out ( with a big help from this forum !)
Now I appear to have my first hardware...
