i am considering buying a cnc router in the new year (just bought a co2 laser machine and currently working to learn that at the moment), ive read mot of this thread and from what i can tell the...
and it will not damage the laser at all as it will ultimately be lasering onto the surface of the stainless too and bouncing straight back

will my 80w chinese co2 laser remove a painted surface to expose the stainless steel without damaging the laser at all, i know we can mark stainless with cermark or suchlike, but...
why so touchy? i just said good find. and also pointed out that i wouldnt buy that as it doesnt support multi colour cuts, had you read the thread you would of noticed ive already bought one
that machine does not support multi colour cuts as its the very same one i mentioned earlier in the thread.
Seems very convenient they re based in Birmingham like you too, good find.

a Co2 laser from everything i have read will mark stainless steel with the use of the prep spray, and yes i have bought one

thanks will do, need to buy a proper water chiller i think and an ammeter, keep an eye on the laser stats so as not to allow it to run too hot and over power it shortening the life, from what ive...
