You have definitely found 'something' here. I have build 1462 and the update is for build 1547. Download is not available to me at the moment so am sending a request to BobCAD support.
Yes. It's a Digital Wood Carver (router) and I still had the original email with the post processor file attached.
I have now. Even restarted the laptop then opened Bobcad at Admin. Same error. :(

You lost me a bit here. I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice since initially installing onto the new Win 10 drive. Last time I clicked Yes to all the default choices including the full install.
I definitely agree but am not finding an issue to correct. I turned off Defender (and the 3 firewalls) then started BobCAD as Admin and tried to post a pretty simple vcarve tool path. Same error :(
Run as admin sounded like a great idea but I still got the same error. :( Tried with stored text drawing as vcarve and also drew simple part and tried with it. Even changed post processor and still...
It did help me verify that I have the correct post processor installed. :) Still getting the error that it cannot find this *.txt file :(
Try where? I am not inputting the path. It automatically appears in the error message.
I agree with you but I cannot find where this path is called out in BobCAD so that I can change it. I have added the missing file to the Temp folder named in the settings area. No joy.

Still Not Working but I have done an uninstall and reinstall, then installed the relevant post processor.
Now the MillingPostExe_Paths.txt file exists and is in the folder at "Butch...
BTW, this is on a Windows 10 machine.
I have since restarted the computer and retried to post. No change. :(
I reinstalled BobCAD V27 after a harddrive failure. Now I get this error when I try posting a milling job.

Trying to bid a router job so I vectorized the art and tried to create a tool path. If I select a small portion of the vector art a tool path is created BUT if I select it all, no tool path is...
That did work once I found Offset under the Other menu.
Thank you :)

Using BobCAD V27 to make designs for my cnc router and cannot find how to draw this border around text. The end product would be v-carved text inside the border layed over a textured background.

This should be close to what you want...

Similar options are available in BobCAD (BobArt) and CorelDraw as well. Bigger really is better when it comes to a bitmap for tracing / vectorizing :)
You're welcome.
I used BobArt in BobCAD to vectorize the image. The real time was in finding a much larger image than you provided. "Size matters."
Once I had the larger art, the whole process...
I gave it a try. The bottom text is a bit different because it didn't trace well so I added it.
Are you cutting a pocket in the back of your clocks for the clock-works?

LOL. I'm understanding the phrase, "knows just enough to be dangerous." :)
I read all the help file info on adding a UCS and completed the Surface Wrap tutorial. Haven't found anything about...
Why would my swung surface be correct on Left and Right but different on Front and Back?
I'm following the video as closely as I can and have selected each path/curve using shift-click.

THANKS. That worked. At least for the drawing part (and not the first 5 tries). :)
I think my background in using CorelDraw (since ver 2 for DOS) hurts me in learning BobCAD.
Am I even approaching this problem correctly?
A customer needs to replicate the contours on a drawer face for a remodel job. He's tried and cannot find router bits to match the original design....
