    I got them running on a friends machine. They use +-10v. They work well. You would need some kind of board with Mach3 that can do +-10v.

    Just my 2 cents.

    He is going to use Linuxcnc, no need to change out encoders. They work fine, The drive gets the encoders, then output to Linuxcnc. I did one of these machines and had no issues.

    The control if you have rt480 is useless these days. If you only want to do squares holes and circles it may do.

    I dont know, its all in french so I may be missing it but I checked and couldnt find it.

    Its probably the mesh guards.... but they are jumped out on your machine.

    Find the input in the schematics, get the module number and check to see if it is true. (light for input is on), then remove the wire.

    Hi olanfz,

    I only work with Linuxcnc so I cannot answer about any other control, so I will stick with LinuxCNC. You will have to make a decision on what you want to use.
