    It may work going backwards,
    When exporting into Cut2d I use Anycad Exchage 5.0. on the exported stl files. It gets me a starting layer so I guess you could try using Alibre's import feature....

    I had a similar problem where the size was off as well on my SX3 because I did not have the correct setting on the steps in Mach3. This video by Hoss was the solution to my problem.
