Re: Chinese Stepper Driver - ZK-SMC02

Have you tried setting F01 to P04. F06 should be set to 1, and F02 set to the number of steps to move.

p.s. How do you measure the amps when changing the potentiometer on the bottom?

Organize the parts so the bottom of each is on the same plane. The Arrange command may work, otherwise you can use planar joints if individual parts are components (and they should be). If all of...

Re: How to Cut Gears with CNC

Put one layer of tape on the spoilboard and one on the stock. Super glue between the layers. It comes apart easily, but holds the parts well.
  8. Re: The best software probing for cnc machines

Re: How to Cut Gears with CNC

CA glue and painters tape works much better than double sided tape. Cut the center hole (or other opening) in the gear first and add a safety screw if you don't feel confident with the CA glue.

Re: Rails or Rods on 12" x 42" bed

You could put the same size shim under all of the fastener locations, then adjust from there. I would be tempted to use a 48" long granite surface plate as the base instead of welded steel. They're...

Re: Rails or Rods on 12" x 42" bed

Welded steel frames vibrate, you should make a cast iron frame  I don't think you'll have any squishy issues using epoxy on a machine only cutting wood. You may also find it to be less...

Re: Rails or Rods on 12" x 42" bed

Definitely use supported rods. You can also use self leveling epoxy to get it perfectly (within tolerances :halloween) flat. There are quite a few threads on it.
