That is totally awesome!!!
I know....I screwed that up, but I got my answer that I needed. Thanks.
One more questions...
How do I get rid of the X, Y, Z arrows in the center of the screen. I don't want them to print out on my paper. I can get rid of the axis lines, but not the arrows.
Mike
Golly. That was easy!
THANKS!!!
I gotta remember this now.
I got the copy part figured out after going back and playing with it some more. Took a little fiddling...but pretty easy now that I know how.
Would still like to figure out an easier way to get...
I need some help for a drawing for a radiator fin for a model truck radiator. This drawing will be the artwork for a photoetch operation.
I want to evenly space (.0995 on centers) 46 .021 x .300...
I CNCd my little X2 a few years ago, but I used the dual shaft motors so I could put the hand cranks on to use it as a manual machine "just in case." I haven't used it manually since I CNCd it. There...
This looks like a pretty cool project. I am following this one.

I'll take a stab at this...and I am not getting smart with you but are you Justin Bieber or Arnold Swartzenegger? It is all going to come down to how strong you are and what you can use to haul it...
If I can buy what I need for my machine at a reasonable price, I am not going to take time and material away from my model building to make the item. While I admire and respect the work that some...
Which is the reason I went with flood. I used a shower curtain for the enclosure, the bottom is slanted towards the front and then I have a section of rain gutter with a dehumidifier filter across...
:) Yep. That is what I did on the thing I just posted.
I can't believe that it is was this difficult to fill in an area with color. It's easy now...but to get to this point....I would have never...
Here is a little practice thing I made just to play around.

By jove...I think I got it. Is it something called "Planar" under the Surfaces menu what I need? I used that to draw a box around my drawing and then I guess it converted it to a surface. I could...
That is what I was doing. I was setting the cross hatch to .001 and it seemed to work. I'm just not sure that is a good way to do it. I tried a .0001 setting and my computer bogged down considerably....
I think this is the part I'm not getting. How do I use the surface options to surface my shape? I'll understand the rest then.
Mike
OK...went back and played with it....maybe "simple 2D shape" is a misnomer. My drawing is a side frame part but flattened out to be etched out of thin brass and then folded to shape. I did not use...
Is there a way to fill in certain areas of a BobCad file with colors? Just changing the background color does not work as it changes the background in the drawn areas too.
Let's say I have two...
I think you missed the point of wizard's post....
You have really not posted anything so that anyone here can help you diagnose the issue. There are some mighty smart people here that will give...
Exactly! Although I didn't really have the money, but I wanted to save the time, I went with CNCFusion. But I had also bought the DVD from Hoss to make his conversion too.
It comes down to time vs...
I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. :)
I'm really careful of anything I post over there. There is a definate "high and mighty" attitude that perseveres. If you are not running a high dollar...
Wow. That is pretty cool Burrman.
I wish I had just half your knowledge on running this program....
Mike
I had the same concerns about my computer crashing and/or the program suffering a serious crash and not working by installing it on one computer. So....since I have four computers....(actually 3...
You've picked this up fast if this is your first time machining parts. You must have really paid attention to the videos and books :)
Great job so far.
Mike
That is exactly what I ended up doing. I had found a good manual on the THK site for installing rails and they had various procedures listed. The reference edge is the way I went. Getting the...
If you need one "now", that is probably as good as price as you will fine, but there are certain things you will need to do like stiffen up the column and I would recommend the belt drive. Later on,...
Just work out with the salesperson how many seats you need. I got 4 with mine.
Mike
This is driving me crazy tonite.
I drew a part out in 2D. Got my measurements where I "thought" I wanted them.
I extruded the part into 3D.
I found a dimension that I want to change, but...
I just bought a whole slew of BobCAD programs. I was curious on why you were getting rid of it already without even loading it. It seems that the evaluation download should have given you a good...
It appears to me that everything transfers with the license including extra seats. If you have two seats, then both seats will transfer under the one license. But it really isn't clear if BobCad...
