  5. Re: Spindle rotor (& tool holder) not grounded (???)

E001 is low Voltage so you need to check your supply voltage and current ( Amps ) that you have is enough for your spindle, are you running single phase or 3 phase
  6. Re: Spindle rotor (& tool holder) not grounded (???)

This manual should cover your VFD Drive it is the DZB300 series but covers the DZB 200 series also

Re: how to use vfd for old cnc mill

Not with this standard 4 Pole motor you are not going to run it at 6,000 RPM, it's rated RPM is 1725 so 3450 is around the max for this motor, did you check the motor he posted

Re: how to use vfd for old cnc mill

It would mean that you don't have to turn the hand crank to change the speed you just command the speed in your program and the VFD Drive will run it at that speed, so that is why you would use it...

  19. Re: Limiting current on a 2.2 kW VFD/spindle combo for 110V/20A breakers

You really should make the seller take it back and give you the 1.5Kw spindle the 2.2Kw spindle will not perform very well being 110v the US and all of NA supply is 120v the 2.2Kw @110v is not 8.5A ...
