I misread the original post, scrambled letters suggested improper information coming in to the CRT, but after rereading, it appears the proper information is there but the CRT is not displaying it...

I am sorry, I thought that was the machine model, my mistake. It sounds like it is going to be a video card problem, but I don't have information on this type of CNC control.

I am referring to the CNC Controls. i.e. Yasnac I80 or Fanuc 0M

Hurco Hawk 5 SSM is the machine model, I am looking for the CNC Control. i.e. Fanuc 18M or Yasnac I80, etc.

This could be an issue with your video card or CRT. Can you tell me what NC Control you have in the machine?

Brian, if you can provide the original drive model number and the terminals that the wires were connected to, I should be able to help you with the wiring for the new drive. Also, please let me know...

What is the drive model on your x-axis?
What is the alarm on the x-axis drive?

Can you tell me what NC control you have on the machine?

Can you please provide the model numbers for the X and Z Axis drives? Also, watch the drives as this is occurring and record any displays/faults that occur. This will most likely tell us what is...
