I scored 3 bearings (SHS 15V) and 2 6-7 foot long rail from work today. I know next to nothing about the profiled rail and I am building a 3 axis gantry router and I would like to use these rails. I...

After I run the machine for a couple of weeks this keeps happening to the bearings. These are on the long axis.

IN the directions for the 540 it says to set mach 3 to 2 rev per second and turn the trim pot on the 540. How do I set mach 3 to run my motors to 2 revs per second?
My machine pinched off one of the motor wires and it shorted to ground. All I get now is the red fault light how do get the drive reset? Can I replace the broke axis with the 4th axis on the G540?
Thanks I got it now.
Yes it is the SSR-DA. Can you all show me a simple drawing of how to make the connections I thought I knew but I am now wondering. The way I understood it was to solder the resistor to the diode and...
Thanks alot it is appreciated.
Thanks for the help, what are the chances of me burning my power supply or 540 up if I get this wrong?
What size resistor would I need? Or do you have a formula I could use to figure it out? Which diode would you reccomend? I have some of both that I scavanged but I don't know how to figure out what...
I have a G540 with a 48 volt power supply, I did not think things through and bought 2 32 volt relays. I am guessing hooking up the positive side of the relay would spell death for the relay since it...
Does anyone have a .dxf of a patrolmans badge like this one?188052
Just about any of them would work all I really need is joystick hole placement and button spacing. I have not had any luck finding anything in dxf format.
Anyone have a dxf of an arcade contol panel with button and joysticks?
How did you cut the longer parts on the jgro been searching but can't come up with anything.
Does anyone have the dust shoe file? I can't seem to find it.

I was afraid that the motor would try to pull 4 amp through a 3 amp chip. Thanks for the help.
4.2 amp stepper motor paired up with a chinese ebay TB6560 drive. Can the resistor be put in between the driver board and the motor?
I am sure this has been covered but I missed it. Can a resistor be added to a motor that is rated at 4.2 amps to limit the current so that a 3 amp drive could be used?
Thanks for the help guys, I will be trying this as soon as time permits. I was hoping that someone on here had the same setup.....I cross posted this on the EMC forum as well.
I bought a driver board off of ebay a few years ago and it is very similar to this one.
