I would go with an UGRA spindle I have had nothing but trouble with the ebay china spindles, it is worth the extra cost believe me.

Hello I though I would post some pictures of my kl-1212, this shows some of the detail I was not able to find elsewhere. I bought it off Craigslist to replace a rack and pinion machine that I had...
-update- I have replaced all the bearings, pinions, mdf table, spindle nut, collet and a lot of other stuff but am still getting lines. Could the rack be bad? I have had this machine close to 3 years...
I put the old pinions back on for troubleshooting, the third picture shows the new gears I think. The newer gears have bearings instead of bushing's and roll easier.
That's exactly what it looks like. I been using two new bits both good quality 1/8 tapered ball nose and 1/4 ball nose but still no luck . What I have done to check tension was to reassemble the...
I dissembled my gantry again and checked everything for proper tension and slid it back and forth to make sure it rolled well, bearings are in good shape. I don't think that this could be a...
I am still having problems with this if anyone else has any ideas, Its been broke for about a month now. I have disassembled my gantry and make sure everything rolls evenly, replaced the dumpster nut...
Just an update I believe I found my problem one of the pulleys on my x axis had a set screw that was just loose enough to give it some slop but not enough to let it move when pushing on the gantry.
I have tramed it, it was needing it but did not help my problem.

A large part of the problem was my usb wireless adapter. I'll keep the old machine for a backup, but everything seems to be running good now. THANKS CNCZONE!
Thanks a lot:cool: turns out it was my usb wireless card, I also tried other things like clicking on the windows key or bringing up internet explorere and it would cause the same halting problem

Hitachi x 200 http://www.clrwtr.com/PDF/Hitachi/Hitachi-WJ200-User-Manual.pdf
On page 39 it has an alarm signal maybe I could use that?
Sure i'm using a 2.2 kw spindle with Hitachi vfd which is set to use as an external on off switch that goes through the relay on my board, its not the right way but I am not smart enough to wire it...
Thanks a lot for the info I really appreciate it! The simplest thing to do would be to get a ups with relay, but all the ones I have found are 200+ bucks just for the interface card. Am I correct ...
Feed hold sounds like a better idea, Can you recommend a relay that I could use for this purpose and what the name of the signal would be on ports and pins?
