The purple wire?
Yes. Just used it to cut some splines on a jet pump drive shaft.

9028 is a probing script (I think). I don't have a probe yet, so we will see someday.
PM me your email. I'd have to attach them all separately.
Once you get them, you'll notice some 90xx files. I believe they specifically deal with the CSM.
LOL! I fixed at least a dozen air leaks on mine too. I was lucky. Fresh tubing fixed most of them. I changed fittings on the remainder. The valves were all fine.
I'll see if I can attach the...
I have a Partner 1 H with a Custom Servo Motor as well. The seller told me it was a 7.5hp...
Anyway, I'm no expert at this point but if you need to know what any of my parameters are set at, hit...
Sweet! I'm glad you were able to get it working.
This works for my Partner 1. It was a 5 hole test. 4-40 Tap.

Milltronics uses G88 for rigid tapping. It kicks a fault with F = 12.5 saying something like "feed rate out of range". F = 12.5 would be correct for G84, which most mills use to rigid tap.
F =...
Thank you so much!
I just tried it. It gave a feed value of 0.3
It rounded up?
Hey! Thanks for your interest. Milltronics requires G88 instead of G84 for rigid tapping. I figured out where to change that.
However, I can't get the feed rate right. G88 needs thread pitch...
Yeah. G88 took me a while to figure out. Now if only I could modify the Fusion 360 post processor so I don't have to modify the G-code by hand to make it work. They have G84 for rigid tapping, and...
Thanks for the info. Going to try it out.
Bob helped me before I even purchased my mill. He was super helpful and will be getting my business.
Thanks again Bob. The mill arrives tomorrow. :) I will look at the X axis pulleys and belt,...
Seller has dismal feedback. No way I would buy.
I went to look at it today. Sellers are good people. They have good records, electrical manual, mechanical manuals and conversational programming manual. The spindle sounds very smooth. There is...
Thank you Ron.

Wow! That is quite an endorsement. I am going to go look at this mill before I buy it. Having communicated with the seller, he seems pretty decent.
I have one real reservation though. Listen...
Hi All.
I am a hobby machinist, but will be retiring from my day job soon. I am in the process of buying equipment to start a business making my own products. I've found a 1995 Partner 1 Series...
Best keep to topics you know something about.
Jan, I will email you shortly. I am interested in an SVM-2VMC Mini Industrial w/ 4th axis and tool changer. I assume that comes with the industrial controller or is that an option?

I am currently looking at used Haas TL-1 machines. I think they had handwheels prior to 2015.

At this point, I am leaning towards the Novakon with LinuxCNC. I am going to put it on my little G0704 and see how well I like it before making any decisions.
Tormach's site now says that you have to have a machine S/N to even order the disc. Is there a way around that?
That is really great to hear. Thanks again.
Thank you Lee. I looked up Siemens 808D controllers hoping to maybe do a retro fit. They are not cheap.

Hi All. I have not posted much, but have enjoyed reading here a lot. I am in the decision process regarding which CNC mill to buy. Initially, I was set on a Tormach PCNC-1100. Then I gravitated...
