  1. Re: HAAS CM1 lacking performance acceleration-wise;

    Anybody here knows what parameters need to be set for the acceleration of a Haas?
  2. Re: HAAS CM1 lacking performance acceleration-wise;

    No love for the CM1 here? :cheers:
  3. Re: Taiwan - SYNTEC - 6MB or 6MA - Controller Discussions

    Eppie, did you manage to sort it out?
  4. HAAS CM1 lacking performance acceleration-wise;

    Small question. Our Haas CM1 has slow acceleration on the x/y/z axis. (eye balling it at around 1000 mm/s2 at most). It's slow as molasses in January for a servo driven machine this size.

    Our...

    PM has been send!
  6. Re: Taiwan - SYNTEC - 6MB or 6MA - Controller Discussions

    Interesting. I'm sure my X and Y axis don't use this yaskawa encoder index (also using the sigma 7's, 850W motor, 1000w driver) ; it arrived with no motors attached to the y axis, in order to fit the...
  7. Re: Taiwan - SYNTEC - 6MB or 6MA - Controller Discussions

    Yep, i must say, after 2 months of use, i am an enthusiast too. (also enthusiastic about SyntecEngineer's support)

    6MA/6MB question

    In case of a worn tool, can you pause and replace/measure the...

    Re: Networking Syntec6MD

    When connecting from my 6MA to the SMB share on the PC it keeps asking for the password of the account used. Can't seem to save it. is this normal behaviour?

    I've set it up so that I can acces...
  9. Re: Taiwan - SYNTEC - 6MB or 6MA - Controller Discussions

    Yes! Very thankful for your help!!

    According to the manual, you can measure more tools and assign them to a certain tool-holder, for example T20 can be assigned to holder 1. (MG 1). so I would...

    Syntec engineer has been very helpful and changed my ladder for the m8/m9 command to work. Thank you very much sir!

    About the error; Sounds like one of the two motors is out of sync with the...
  11. Re: Taiwan - SYNTEC - 6MB or 6MA - Controller Discussions

    No, updating the ladder won't happen by the manufacturer, The M110 M111 doesn't work. I'm fine with the buttons as used now for the vacuum/dust extraction. M7/M8/M9 don't do anything now either, so i...
  12. Re: Taiwan - SYNTEC - 6MB or 6MA - Controller Discussions

    I heard from my manufacturer that this was set in parameter 161 for Y, i'd expect these settings for the other axis are close, but i have now idea if this is correct, you can set these parameters...
  13. Re: Taiwan - SYNTEC - 6MB or 6MA - Controller Discussions

    Great. made some pictures of the cabinet today, but left the camera at work.

    ok, so you have motion in your 4th axis, and left the motion per inch untouched. In that case I would simple scale down...
  14. Re: Taiwan - SYNTEC - 6MB or 6MA - Controller Discussions

    No, i don't need the m code to switch on/of the vacuum or the dust extraction, the now used buttons make some kind of sense, but i can life with any of the buttons, i don't care too much about that....
  15. Re: Taiwan - SYNTEC - 6MB or 6MA - Controller Discussions

    Thank you for your investigation Frank!

    No, it only has 1 input-board; but i think i know what is going on;
    this machine can be equiped with an automated load/unload feature. It pushes the...
  16. Re: Taiwan - SYNTEC - 6MB or 6MA - Controller Discussions

    Quick question;

    what do you use for lubricating the rack/pinion and the lineair rails? Mine came with an automatic oiler, i'm reading different stories. Some use oil, others (like Multicam cnc's)...
  17. Re: Taiwan - SYNTEC - 6MB or 6MA - Controller Discussions

    @frank; i'll upload the details on the cabinet this Friday, but there is only 1pc 16 channel relay-board. Cabinet is very neat and tight.
    About the structure. It's all steel, no aluminum

    Can...

    I'll reply more thorough, but here is the ladder file;
  19. Re: Taiwan - SYNTEC - 6MB or 6MA - Controller Discussions

    @xjdubber; Do you have a tool setup menu under coordinate setup? in that case you can do a delta-z calibration of the Z axis in the selected/active coordinate system. If the tool measurement location...
  20. Re: Taiwan - SYNTEC - 6MB or 6MA - Controller Discussions

    Yes, it is fast indeed! It's now accelerating at 0,42G, which is too fast for my likings, my current other machine did 3m/min, so this is a huge upgrade. I think i'll tame it down a bit to ~30m/min...
  21. Re: Taiwan - SYNTEC - 6MB or 6MA - Controller Discussions

    no, rapids are 2000ipm, so 50m/min. max cutting speed is 35m/min running only metric.
  22. Re: Taiwan - SYNTEC - 6MB or 6MA - Controller Discussions

    Is my method of setting the Z height correct? I need to adjust the 0 (top of my spoilboard) of the Z-height using the delta-Z in the tool measuring menu. Every other method to zero the Z results in...
  23. Re: Taiwan - SYNTEC - 6MB or 6MA - Controller Discussions

    In only run in metric. Can’t imagine a world on inches.

    Yes, Z0 should the the top of the spoilboard. I do the very same. Most convenient and fast.

    On my machine you can set the g54/55/56...
  24. Re: Taiwan - SYNTEC - 6MB or 6MA - Controller Discussions

    THANK you for editing the post Mike!! i now realize that when i went into the MDI for the first time, these where the values that where presented there. I'll try it first thing in the morning and...
  25. Re: Taiwan - SYNTEC - 6MB or 6MA - Controller Discussions

    Hi Mike, thanks for your answer, The machine is in metric mode. I'll check the PLC settings/status tomorrow, otherwise i'll punch in the numbers manually there. the thing is that it throws an error...
  26. Re: Taiwan - SYNTEC - 6MB or 6MA - Controller Discussions

    Another day in paradise. I found that G991/G0991 isn't implemented on the machine, there is no macro visible related to changing the tools, but the tools are out of wack. Asked the supplier on how to...
  27. Re: Taiwan - SYNTEC - 6MB or 6MA - Controller Discussions

    OK, the 2nd VFD (abb acs550-11) for the vacuumpump is used to control the power of the vacuumpump once vacuum has been reached and to make the startup of the pump a bit more subtle. (i'm planning on...
  28. Re: Taiwan - SYNTEC - 6MB or 6MA - Controller Discussions

    I picked my supplier (Sudiao) it was (for my likings) ticking the most boxes.

    Company has been nice and patient, I am going to measure its accuracy tomorrow and I hope it's OK (Fingers crossed)....
  29. Re: Taiwan - SYNTEC - 6MB or 6MA - Controller Discussions

    G0991 G991; I am about to receive my Syntec controlled machine in a few days. (ship is docked in the harbour currently, unloading the containers).

    About Fusion360; it's free for startups below...
  30. Re: Taiwan - SYNTEC - 6MB or 6MA - Controller Discussions

    Postprocessor question; What software are you using for cad/cam? Each cam software uses his own unique interpreter for creating the gcode. Frankmali; Perhaps Fusion360 is handy to try your 4th axis.
