Once you no longer need the original part, you can open the "SOLID BODIES" list and delete the corresponding body. See attached.
The "DELETE BODY" then becomes a feature at the bottom of your tree.

Are you in an assembly (.sldasm) or part file (.sldprt)?
Dave,
What is your email to send the quote?
Tom,
We have laser scanning capabilities. If you send me a photo of your part, I could give you a cost to create a 3D CAD model from the existing part.
Regards,
Vic,
We would be interested in looking at your project as well. We machine molds in both steel and aluminum.
Please send your CAD files to [email protected]
Thanks,
LSmith,
We would be very interested in machining your parts.
Please email your IGES file with all of your contact information.
Thanks,

Brian,
Yes, I would go with the U Frame.
I've not used the FITS frames but I'm sure they are just PCS's version. They would be fine it probably just comes down to price.
We have used the I/C...
Brian, unless you are in the mold making business, I would recommend just purchasing a MUD frame from DME. You can always make (or have made) your own inserts. Cooling should be in the inserts, not...
For 3K parts, would it be worth stamping?
Marc,
We would be happy to quote your project. If you do not find a source more local to you, email me the data and your contact information and we will get you a price.

GOM,
With vacuum forming, you most certainly will get some sort of radius in those corners.
You might do better with pressure forming for more detail.
I don't think you would get sharp corners on...
Rudie, We offer CNC machining services and routinely work with wood, foam, and other materials.
Please send your CAD file, contact information, and any requirements such as finish to...
Been seeing the same message. Cant imagine what might go wrong with a software upgrade! :D
Mothman,
A lot depends on the complexity of the geometry, the number of casings you want to create, and of course cost.
Depending on the shape, size and aesthetics you may even consider vacuum...
The photo is too pixelated to read. Can you just email it? Thanks.
1Jumper,
We would be interested in quoting your project. Please send the image with depths so we can determine what might need corner radii.
Thanks,
Justin,
Please email your information to [email protected]
Thanks
I agree with Andrew. A CNC machined Renhape or Aluminum mold would work fine but cost may be an issue.
If you take the time and expense to machine a master pattern you might as well machine a mold.
David, we usually drill vac holes at about .040" diameter and raise the plug off of the platen about that much if necessary. We actually just finished a production aluminum vac tool about 20" x 40"...
David, It may be more an issue of your mold geometry rather than your mold material. We've made vacuum forming molds from wood, foam, tooling board, and aluminum. Sometimes we can get away with just...
Brian,
We have used Apple Die in the past. They are in Wisconsin.
Very affordable and good quality.
We would appreciate the opportunity.
Please email your CAD information and contact information.
Thank you,
We may be able to assist you.
Please send what information you may have.
CMT-
We are also a model and pattern making company that would be interested in looking at your project. However, like the other respondent above, we are not in Canada.
We are in Akron, Ohio. ...
Are the .3125 dia holes just "drilled" or do they need reamed? Any special tolerances?
You might try Rapid Prototyping & 3D Printing Service Bureau | RedEye pretty reasonable prices and quick turn around.
We use them for some ABS specific parts.
I know this doesn't answer your question but we could cut that in one piece for you on our routers.
Where are you located?
Send me what information you have and your contact info and we'll see what we come up with.
Thanks,
We may be able to help you out also.
Troy,
Two weeks is a pretty tall order but I would not want to dismiss it without first seeing the parts.
We may be able to assist you with your large thermoformed tooling needs. Other things too...
