Hi,
Thanks for the reply, our machine is pretty reliable and I’ve only seen the error twice in 7 months. Curious what causes it that’s all, I’ll check the settings if it continues though, thanks...
Hi, Did you manage to sort this out after please? Just wondering what the answer was to the loss pulse error? The other errors are homing issues as you probably know, we occasionally see the loss...
When we first received our machine and homed it for the first time we had an overload warning as the Y & Y2 motors were not perfectly aligned and the gantry wasn't square. We also had a lost pulse on...
Excellent, extremely helpful.
Thank you very much.
Hi,
Thank you very much for sharing this, it is greatly appreciated.
We have a carousel machine from Philicam but we are having problems getting any support whatsoever from them. I have...
Hi guys,
Did anyone manage to get a copy of the working Post Processor for Vectric Aspire from SyntecLee please? I have contacted him but I don't think he is active on here anymore.

Hi,
We are getting to the stage where we need to replace our cnc machine with an ATC due to the amount of work and tool changes we are undertaking.
I have been searching for information on...
It's satin black spray paint, it does look cool for a £6 a can! I was going to powder coat but its a little thicker than paint so decided to stay away. I'll be building another machine soon, might...
No it's a solid piece of aluminium, the gasket stops the vacuum leaking around the outside of the bed, fast and easy to put down, it works great.
Thanks I have emailed you at the address given, did you receive it?
Many thanks for your replies, very kind.
Hi,
I have just finished a DMM Servo build and discovered the max kernel in mach is not giving me full performance of the servos, also at the max setting it seems a bit flakey throwing driver...
Thanks, just trying to sort out the motor tuning and speed settings in mach3. Didn't really consider the limitations of mach3 and the parallel port, maybe have to consider using a smooth stepper or...
Hi,
I have a build thread on here where I have used DMM-Tech servos and on a new build.
The servos and drivers spin the servos up to 3000rom and will give me around 56000mm/min with the pinion...
Just testing the servos, mechanical stuff is finished and starting to tune and test the DMM servos. I will post some information on this and videos of the machine operating soon.
Currently cannot...
Used a 3.5mm jack and spiral cable for the touch plate. This will be stored on the gantry so wherever the machine is the touch plate will be too.
Here's a few more images before final assembly and installation of cables and igus chain/spindle.
More images to follow in the near future. I dont have much time available but will try to add some more images next week.
I have some videos of the vacuum which Ill upload too as I know this is a...
This is from another machine but thinking of integrating this into the build. Its a vacuum board machined from HMW plastic. I used one of the extractor vacs on it and for larger pieces above 300x300...

For anyone who's unsure about keeping the rails parallel to each other here's one way of doing it. I have done this in the past so have become pretty good at it. No matter what steel you use, hot or...
Here's the final machined gantry plates from 20mm aluminium plate:
Here's some images of the X setup and dry test fitting of the gantry plates. These are just to test, aluminium ones have been included in other images.
Here's the parts for the gearbox and fabrication photos. All the aluminium in this build log is being machined on one of the other machines I have previously built.
Here's the bits from DMM:
